Cascade Speed Meet
Cascade Speed Meet sure was speedy!
Through two days of competition, the swimmers showed their resilience as they raced amid a big
training block of high volume and intensity. They stood up and put forth 100% effort while swimming as
much as three times during the quick sessions. Many swimmers made finals, set new personal bests,
and even broke records – all such big accomplishments!
Congrats to Jeffery Cheung who broke the club record in the 14-year-old boys 50 backstroke with a time
of 27.84!
This meet served as a great check-in mid-way through the cycle. The grit and effort the athletes
demonstrated shows that they are fit and fast, setting themselves up to be at their best in a month’s
time, at their December peak meets.
Congrats to all swimmers who attended Cascade Speed Meet, and best of luck to all as we move
through the Fall cycle and are in for a busy competition season!
GO DINOS!
