Dino Cup 2026

Dino Cup - the biggest meet of the season for many of UCSC's youngest Dino - was a 2026 success! 

10 & Under swimmers from Development and TREX squads had great, well-swum races, many MANY best times, and learned a lot from their time in the water and on deck.  

For lots of young swimmers, it was their first experience of a two-day competition and the planning and energy that goes into that. For some, it was an opportunity to race the clock for a Festival qualifying time (for some, their very first Festival time), or a personal best.  Regardless of their experience heading into the meet, the Dino Cup swimmers demonstrated camaraderie in the stands, focus through their nerves, and the ability to race well whether they were uncertain or confident.

Dino Cup 2026 showcased swimmers who are resilient, brave, strong and adaptable.
