Dino MAYhem 2025

The second edition of the UCSC MAYhem meet is a wrap and it proved again what a grand club we are all a part of!  The big, two-day, intrasquad meet with both the Development groups and the TREX groups saw some new Swim Alberta Festival qualifiers, some gutsy best times, some brave firsts (inaugural 100 IMs, 25 butterflies, 100 butterflies, and more for many swimmers), and the GREATEST RELAYS EVER.  On Saturday the 4x50 freestyle relays and on Sunday the 4x50 medley relays saw all teams with a combination of both Development and TREX swimmers, the latter assisting the former in what was, for most of them, their first time in a relay!  What a fabulous display of camaraderie, great teamwork, enthusiasm and care.

Well done to all of the swimmers and a big thanks to the officials, coaches, volunteers, hospitality and fans in the stands for a wonderfully efficient, spirited and well-run meet.
