Dinos @ Swim AB Festival

The mighty Dinos assembled at the Seton YMCA to race the best 12 and under swimmers in the province at the Swim AB Festival competition, January 23-25. The competition was fierce but that didn’t stop our swimmers from standing up on the blocks and being fearless.

Not only were there many personal bests, but valuable lessons learned. When a performance doesn’t meet expectations, it can be a hard blow and confidence can dwindle. It’s how you pick yourself up and move forward that defines the characteristics of a true champion. This is such a valuable skill that transfers beyond the confines of the lane lines at a pool. It was impressive to witness the strength of a 12 and under swimmer persevere.

It is through experience we grow and I’m positive new goals have been set the Dinos are eager to achieve bigger things.
