Former Dinos Inducted Into Sports Hall of Fame

Last week UCSC alumni Jessica Sloan and long time volunteer Don Buchignani will be inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame on October 21, 2022. Jessica will be inducted as a para-swimming athlete for her tremendous international career which culminated in 6 gold medals and 6 matching world records at the 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney. Don will be inducted as a Swimming Builder for his years involved in swimming which included a stint on the Swim Alberta board of directors, President of UCSC and team manager of the 2008 Olympic Swim Team in Beijing.
