Summer Festival South

UCSC represented at the 2022 Summer Festival with spirit and speed. There were 36 swimmers from the development and TREX groups, enough to fill NINE relay teams, make a lot of noise, and have a lot of fun. Amongst so many best times and so many great performances from all of the Dinos, Alexis Yuan and Alice Zhang (along with Miguel Lorenzo and Callie Cardiff who have since aged up from Festival eligibility) were given Youth Recognition for their top 5 provincial rankings. Our wonderful Lorna Snow was also recognized with a standing ovation no less, for her contributions not just to our club but to swimming in Alberta for over 40 years. Congratulations to all of the participants for great swims, great spirit and a fast and fun meet.
