Team Champs Fall 2023

Ptero came out on top to repeat as back-to-back champions of our in-house Team Champs meet. They did it in style too. After being in third place nearly the entire meet, they scored major points in the second last event, the 100IM, to quietly gain some ground on Rapto and Bronto. They then finished 1-2 in the relay, which catapulted them into first place to win the meet. Congrats Ptero!

The evening fast and furious, with tons of PB’s to be had. The energy on deck was electrifying, and the crowd in the stands was loud and cheerful. The semi-annual Team Champs never disappoints – everyone involved had so much fun!

In addition to the countless best times, there were also some club records broken. Congrats to Paul Dardis (50 free), Aiden Norman (50 back), and Hayleigh Haines (50 breast), who each broke an individual club record of their own, as well as Sienna Rodgers who took down the provincial record in the 50 back! Team Champs #2 takes place in June, where Bronto and Rapto will be looking to redeem themselves against Ptero!
