We are pleased to announce we are able to host our annual pre-season swim camp with Coach Jan Bidrman again! These camps are opportunities for swimmers to keep in touch with their swimming and improve the skills acquired through the season. The camps are also a great way to stay connected with swimming friends as well as meet new ones. Registration is now open and will close August 25. Camps are open to ALL competitive swimmers ages 7-17yrs.
Location: Foothills Pool - 2915 24 Avenue NW
Cost: $100
Dates:
August 29 - September 2
Campers will learn:
Horizontal body position (being on top of the water)
Forward swimming (eliminating lateral/side to side body movement)
Better and stronger propulsion (focusing on stronger pulling and kicking)
To register:
UCSC members may sign up online via this event. Swimmers must have a minimum of 1 year competitive swimming experience to be eligible for the camp. Swimmers will be put into groups based on age and experience. The camp will be limited to a maximum of 32 swimmers.
