3^nd Clinic: Racing Strategies

Date: Saturday, December 7 – Session 1 – 9:30am, Session 2 – 10:30am

Location: UofC Pool

Please sign up on the job sign up when the event opens. Job sign up will open November 27 at 9am. Please also note that this "Sunday" Swim Series is taking place on a Saturday.

Before the last meet of the year, this session will give swimmers frameworks about racing. We will work on the importance of race plan and how to stick to it when anxious, on pacing in the race, how to space effort through the swim, on finishing tough, and winning close races. A portion of the session will focus on starts and turns. The session will provide swimmers with tools to help to prepare before the competition and race fast with focus. 

·     Saturday, December 7 

o  Session 1 – 9:30am – Trex C and Trex B

o  Session 2 – 10:30am– T-Rex A and B, 12-stream, Provincial and Provincial Light and above

·     Cost per clinic - $90 

·     Number of swimmers – maximum 16/session 

·     Coaches:  Jan Bidrman, Amy Bidrman and TBD
