Sunday Clinic: Racing Strategies

Date: Sunday, December 7 - Session 1-2pm, Session 2-3pm

This session will provide swimmers with frameworks for racing. We will work on the importance of the race plan and how to stick to it when anxious, on pacing in the race, how to distribute effort through the swim, on finishing tough, and winning close races. A portion of the session will focus on turns. The session will provide swimmers with tools to help them prepare before their competition and race fast with focus.

·     Sunday, December 7

o  Session 1 - 2pm – CH2, CH3, CH3, SD3, Trex C

o  Session 2 – 3pm– T-Rex A and B, 12-stream, Provincial and Provincial Light and above

·     Number of swimmers – maximum 10/session

·     Coaches:  Jan Bidrman, Amy Bidrman, and Michelle Downey

·      Cost per clinic - $90
