Sunday Clinic – February - Kicking
Location: University of Calgary Aquatic Centre

February 18: 4pm – 6pm
The next clinic will focus on kicking. Having a strong kick, both as a part of the stroke and underwater dolphin kick, is an essential aspect of fast swimming. The clinic will progress from kicking with the kickboard to using kick as a propulsive force to swim faster. Kicking strong with a steady rhythm is and can be enhanced quite quickly. Then, after knowing how to kick properly there is a fitness component acquired through training and effort.
· February 18, 2024: 4pm – 6pm
o 4pm – Development squads – CH2, CH3, SD2, SD3, TREX C
o 5pm– TREX A/B, 12 stream, Provincial Groups
· Cost per clinic - $90
· Number of swimmers – maximum 16/session
· Coaches (4 coaches): Jan Bidrman, Michelle Downey, Dan Gerlach and TBD
