Our Sunday Swim Series are back! Led by Coaches Jan and Amy Bidrman these camps will focus on key technical aspects of strokes, turns and all things swimming!
1st clinic: Freestyle
January 15 – 1130am – 230pm
Our first clinic in 2023 will focus on freestyle. Freestyle is a cornerstone stroke; a large part of training is done in freestyle. The main focus of the clinic will be on establishing and refining a horizontal body position. We will address proper pull patterns, arm recovery, and breathing, as well as spending a portion of the time on streamline and underwater dolphin kick after starts and turns.
Times:
o 1130am – Churchill and Trex B and C swimmers
o 1230pm– Trex A and 12 Stream swimmers
o 130pm– 12 A/B, Regional and Provincial
Number of swimmers – maximum 12/session
Coaches: Jan Bidrman, Amy Bidrman, Michelle Downey and Dan Gerlach
Sign up is done through the job sign up, and space is limited, so please be sure to put your swimmer in the correct time and to put their name when signing up. There will be 12 swimmer per session.
