Sunday Swim Series - June 1

2025 Sunday, Clinic: Starts and Turns

Date: Sunday, June 1 – Session 1 – 10:30am, Session 2 – 11:30pm

This is the last clinic of the season, and it will solely focus on the starts and turns of all strokes. For the turns, the main emphasis will be on the rotation (what happens on the wall) and how to make it faster, as well as on a strong push-off and streamline, which transitions to dolphin kicking and breakout, or breaststroke underwater pullout. The start exercises will emphasize a strong push-off, followed by smooth entry (eliminate splashing) and the transition to swimming.

Schedule: 

·      Sunday, June 1

·      Session 10:30am – 1130am – Development squads – CH2, Ch3, SD3, Trex C

·      Session 11:30am – 12:30pm– T-Rex A/B, 12 stream, Provincial and Provincial Light and above

·      Cost per clinic - $90

·      Number of swimmers – maximum 18/session
