Dino Cup 2025

Wooo! What a weekend.

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers for making this event successful and memorable for all of our young swimmers.

Many development swimmers had their first experience with a two-day meet and the emotional effort required to sustain their competitive spirit over the course of the weekend.  Older development swimmers competing in the afternoon sessions had an opportunity to learn more responsibility and race preparation, as there were no marshals to guide them to their lanes.  Well done development!

Both Development and TREX swimmers, some of whom have competed in Dino Cup for several years, had great races with lots of grit, best times and amazing effort.  The Dino Cup meet is a long standing tradition for the UCSC club and this year was no exception to the excitement and camaraderie, both on deck and in the stands, that we've experienced in the past. We are so proud of all of our young Dinos.
